I had a wonderful time at the book signing in Waterstone’s. My daughter Katie helped me to sign copies of the books and she seemed to thoroughly enjoy every minute of it. It was just fantastic to see so many people come along to buy the book – even a couple of my lovely young patients turned up which really made my day. I was asked by one mum to sign the book to her daughter from ‘Princess Lysa’ which amused me no end; I may start to use that title from now on!
Adrian did a spectacular job; he entertained the children as he juggled on his stilts and made animals from balloons. The little ones were enthralled as they watched him standing tall above their heads and followed him wherever he went. I decided to try my hand with a spot of juggling but I discovered that it’s been quite a while and realised that I should have had a bit more practice beforehand so I promptly stopped before I knocked any children unconscious (although with the benefit of hindsight I realise that the publicity may have been good!)
I hope that you enjoy the photos in the gallery and please do let me know through the website if you would like me to come along to your children’s school to do a book reading of Katie the Paramedic.
